Magunode Magnesium Alloy Sacrificial Anode

Maganode- Magnesium alloy anode

MAGANODE is a cast type alloy anode with magnesium as its major component. Its effective potential difference against steel compared with other types of anode is considerably high, enabling a wide range of applications to combat various corrosive environments. MAGANODE therefore can be used with good protective effect especially for objects in fresh water or in soil with comparatively high resistivity.

Merits of maganode

1. Can make a lot of protective current due to big difference in protective potential against steel or copper
2. Good galvanic anode capable of use in the fresh water, displaying a high resistivity in soil.
3. Easy to transport and handle, mainly due to its lightness when compared with ALUNODE and ZANODE.
4. Can be applied to portable water facilities, affecting no harm to humans, because it is a harmless metal.
5. Easy to install, it is normally used in short-processing construction.

Protected structures

1. Underground Pipelines
Gas Pipes, Water Supply and Drainage Pipes, Oil Pipelines, Raw Material Transport Pipes, Power Transmission and Communication Pipes etc.
2. Other Structures
Flood Gates or Lock Gates in Fresh Water, Equipment Using Cooling Water(except Sea Water) such as Condensers and Strainers, Deep Well Casings, Underground
